limb-beaver-lb-6-series-limb-and-brush-cutter
Limb Beaver LB 6SS and LB 6EX 72 Inch Limb and Brush Cutter

The Limb Beaver LB 6 Series is for municipal, contractor and land management crews who clear roadside, right of way and fence line overhang and want the widest Limb Beaver cut, 72 inches, from the seat. The LB 6SS runs on a high flow skid steer or compact track loader, tilts 45 degrees below horizontal, swings 90 degrees to the right and reaches up to 24 feet. The LB 6EX puts the same 3,000 RPM head on an excavator or boom mower. Both cut limbs up to 6 inches on 25 to 50 GPM.

The Limb Beaver 6 Series brings a 72 inch cutting path to roadway, right of way, fence line and field edge clearing, slicing limbs up to 6 inches in diameter without the operator leaving the seat. Pick the head that matches your carrier: the LB 6SS mounts on skid steers and farm tractor loaders and reaches cutting heights up to 24 feet, while the LB 6EX mounts on excavators and boom mowers and cuts at whatever height your boom can place it.

Limb Beaver LB 6 Series 72 Inch Skid Steer Limb Saw and Excavator Brush Cutter

72 inch cutting path with 52 double edge fixed teeth

3,000 RPM rotor cuts limbs up to 6 inches in diameter

Runs on 25 to 50 GPM high flow auxiliary hydraulics

All functions operated hydraulically from the cab

LB 6SS tilts 45 degrees below horizontal and swings 90 degrees from center to right

Built in the USA by Limb Beaver

Limb Beaver LB 6SS and LB 6EX Specifications

Spec

LB 6SS

LB 6EX

Carrier

Skid steers and farm tractors

Excavators and boom mowers

Cutting path

72 inches

72 inches

Teeth

52 double edge fixed

52 double edge fixed

Rotor speed

3,000 RPM

3,000 RPM

Limb capacity

6 inches

6 inches

Hydraulic flow

25 to 50 GPM high flow

25 to 50 GPM high flow

Cutting height

Up to 24 feet

Set by the carrier boom

Offset vertical reach

74 inches from center

Set by the carrier boom

Approximate weight

1,500 pounds

550 pounds

Which Machines Fit the LB 6SS and LB 6EX?

The LB 6SS fits skid steers, compact track loaders and farm tractor loaders with high flow auxiliary hydraulics.
